Page 288 suggests prisoner of War Camps may have been located on the isle of Man, using War Department banknotes. Two locations have been identified:
Camp 171 Mereside Empire Terrace, Douglas. The administrative Head Quarters.
Camp 702 Jurby
171 and 702 are the camp numbers allocated to the camps by the War Department and would appear on any banknotes issued.
